Toronto-born actress Shenae Grimes stars as Annie Wilson, a teenager whose life has changed dramatically since moving to Beverly Hills, on The CW's "90210."
Grimes caught the attention of many viewers when playing good girl Darcy Edwards on the Canadian series "Degrassi: The Next Generation." Her character started out as a minor role, but Darcy was later made a leading character, and Grimes walked away from the series winning a Gemini award for her performance.
Grimes also played teenage Shania Twain in the television movie "Shania: A Life In Eight Albums" and also appeared in the television movie "Picture This," opposite Ashley Tisdale. Grimes recently appeared in a music video for rock band Our Lady Peace's single "All You Did Was Save My Life," which was filmed in April 2009.
Grimes currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
